STEP UP OR STEP DOWN SERIES 2011

Being successful, climbing the corporate ladder, rise to number one on the rankings, reaching the summit, have a winning relationship with loved ones, customers and strangers; has all become the fashionable thing to do.

In this exhibition I use a flight of stairs as a metaphor for life and make some comments on priorities, stumbling blocks and realities of everyday life.

The little moments that happens along lives journey fascinates me more than the result of the journey. A priority, the presence of the right person at the right moment , conscious decision, the power of tradition, political interference or inabilities, are all little moments that have an impact on the staircase drama

With this exhibition I am commenting on live through the use of a flight of stairs as a metaphor for life’s journey.
